Curriculum Impact

We use ongoing, rigorous monitoring throughout the year to gauge the impact of our curriculum design and implementatio at both of the schools in our federation. Progress and attainment are measured through the analysis of the knowledge that children have acquired and their application of skills across the curriculum.

Outcomes of pupil interviews, book looks and learning walks evidence that children become resilient learners who are able to talk about their learning and next steps. As they learn and grow during their time at our schools, children develop their aspirations for their own future, supported by the teaching and learning, experiences, activities and opportunities that they are presented with.

Children leave both Spencer Nursery School and Hackbridge Primary School ready for the next chapter of their education. They leave with fond memories and proud achievements together with the confidence and skills needed to be lifelong learners.
